Vision Baptist Staff Missionaries

One of the things that I am most proud of and grateful to God for is the missionaries that are members and staff of Vision Baptist Church. We call them staff because we believe that everyone is worthy of being on our church staff as pastors yet God has called them to another part of the world to serve.  Here they are with a small amount of information about them.

Chile

Jason and Lori Holt and their children, Katie, Josh, and Andrew serve God in Santiago, Chile. They started and are pastoring the Iglesia Bautista Fe or Faith Baptist Church. They have been on the field more than 7 years now. They are missionaries with Macedonia World Baptist Missions.

China


Mark and Natasha Tolson with their daughter Ava are raising support to go to China this next year. God has tremendously blessed their deputation. They are missionaries with Vision Baptist Missions a ministry of Vision Baptist Church.

Hispanics in the USA

Ronald and Asunta Tubillas with their daughters Shurama and Tabatha are from Peru. God is using them in the USA to pastor two Spanish churches. They are wonderful servants of God. They are missionaries with Macedonia World Baptist Missions.

Northern Africa

Tyler and Gretchen Masters with Norah and Judson are raising support to get to North Africa in early 2010. They have already served for two years in Peru. They are an exciting family with a brand new baby. They are missionaries with Macedonia World Baptist Missions.


Northern Ireland

Travis and Teri Snode with their children Grant, Darci, and Cali serve in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. They are pastoring two churches in two different towns. They are missionaries with Macedonia World Baptist Missions.

Peru

E

Mark and Amy Coffey and their children Emilee and Luke represent the Peru Bible College and Vision Baptist Missions. They are missionaries with Vision Baptist Missions a ministry of Vision Baptist Church.

David and Katie Gardner serve in Arequipa, Peru. Katie is still in language school and doing great with the language. They are missionaries with Macedonia World Baptist Missions.

Chris and Andria Gardner with Jacob, Hannah, and Andrew serve in Arequipa, Peru. He is the pastor of Omega Baptist Church that they just started. Chris also serves as the Spanish Speaking South American Director for Macedonia World Baptist Missions.

They are all obviously members of Vision Baptist Church and we are so blessed of God to have them.

Greetings from our newest Staff Missionary

We are so glad that Jason and Lori Holt have become members of Vision! They are an extremely good family and I have had the privilege of working with them for a very long time. Watch this video greeting! You who do not yet know them will love them as soon as you get the chance to meet them.

Ethan Howeth maybe moving to Atlanta

The following came from Mark Coffey at 9:46

Just found out that Ethan Howeth’s vitals are getting better and his blood flow is improving. They are transferring him to either Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA where they are more prepared to work on his foot. He is still in critical condition though

This came in at 10:38

Ethan Howeth is now off the ventilator. They are preparing him for the transfer to Atlanta or Charlotte. Pray Atlanta will be available so his friends will be able to visit him.

This came in at 11:20

Ethan Howeth is being transferred to Atlanta. I will update you on the exact info when I have it.

This is all I have for now but will get you more information as it develops.

Updates on Ethan Howeth

Since I am several hours a head of you being here in Northern Ireland I went to bed last night. It is now 3:46 AM for you and 8:46 AM for me. The following emails came to me during the night. I will get more updates as soon as they are available. Please be in prayer. This is a very crucial time.

Mark Coffey sent me the following at 6:34 last night:

We just talked to the doctor. He said there is extensive bone and muscle damage. It will be touch and go for the next 24 to 36 hours to whether they will have to amputate or not.

The following came from Mark Coffey at 8:07 pm:

We just got another report from the doctor. It came across a lot more serious.

Ethan is not stable and in critical condition. Please pray!!!! Next 24 hours are vital.

Visiting hours in the ICU are 5:30-6:00 AM 9:00 – 11:00 AM 1:00 – 6:00 PM and 9:00-11:00 PM

More on the Summit

Our Generation Summit 09′
I just wanted to invite all of you to this year’s Summit event hosted by the Our Generation Training Center. The event takes place at the Music Road Hotel in Gatlinburg, Tennessee from December 31, 2009 through January 2, 2010.

If you are interested in learning how to become more involved in world evangelization, how to be more effective in your global outreach, or if you believe you are called to be a missionary yourself this is an event that you won’t want to miss for anything.

Missionaries from all over the world will gather together for a three day event to share their experiences and exciting new ministry opportunities.

This year’s theme is “Equip for Battle” focussing on the very real war that we are in the middle of in our daily Christian lives.
