Biblical Secret to Leadership

Matthew 20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

We have trained too many to be leaders. Leadership has gone to our heads. We want people to follow us when Jesus taught us to serve others. The more people you want to lead the more people you will serve.

I fear I have trained many to lead. That means we have learned to want things our way, to argue, fight, seek the glory, instead of surrendering and giving to others.

Wonderful Faith Promise

God tremendously blessed this morning in our Faith Promise. Not everyone has even turned in their faith promise and we are already at $118,005.00.

I had little faith to be honest. I expected to get close to our goal but to not quite reach it. It was exciting as Trent announced and we got closer and closer to our goal. I was so blessed and excited when we got to $90,000.

Then it just kept going and going. I was in shock.

God has blessed us so much at Vision. I can’t believe it. He is and has been so good to us!

I just wanted to share the blessings with you.

You can’t out give God

Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

The rich man comes to Jesus to see what it will take to be saved. His money is more important than his eternal life. Jesus tells them that rich people love their money too much and trust their wealth too much.

Then Peter and the boys want to know what they get for having given up so much to follow Jesus. He is very clear in His reply.

You can’t give me more than I will give you. I give back 100 times over.

We serve a good God. We are blessed by giving to Him and by serving Him.

Allow God to work through you in your giving to Him. You will not be sorry!

Mission’s Q and A

Tomorrow night, September 19, 210, Sunday night we will have a Mission’s Q and A. It will be our debriefing from the mission’s conference. I hope you will get any question you might have together to ask.

I want you to understand all of the process and the best way is for me to answer your questions.

Why did Jesus come?

Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

The answer is all summed up in a very simple statement. He came to save the lost. I thank God that He did.
