wonderful update from Chile

Lori Holt just posted the following on her FaceBook page:

Proud mom moment!!! My Katie just shared the Gospel with a little girl and she accepted Christ as her Saviour!! Can I just say out loud one time that my daughter is totally awesome!!! I pray she’ll keep loving God and living for him and that this will be the first of many that she helps bring to Christ!!!

d

I know Katie pretty well and find her to be an amazing young lady and very mature for her age but this is a thrill. Praise the Lord.

I thank God for missionaries raising children that want to tell others about Jesus!

My beautiful new granddaughter

Here are pictures of my newest granddaughter, Chloe Elizabeth Jean Gardner! She is in the arms of my beautiful wife!

I know you get tired of all those granddads showing off their grandchildren-but I am kind of enjoying it!

Get all your reward

2John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Keep a watch on your walk so you don’t lose your reward. You have worked and you can have your full reward. This is not talking about salvation but about rewards that we will cast at Jesus feet. Never quit watching. Never quit looking to yourself to be sure you are walking and honoring Jesus.

Sin can steal rewards and you do not want that!

Tomorrow’s reading John 1

Hannah Gardner baptized Sunday July 25, 2010

Hannah Gardner is the daughter of our oldest son, Chris, and his wife, Andria! She got baptized this past Sunday in Omega Baptist Church in Arequipa, Peru! Hannah is 6 years old! She is the light of my life.

f

Right now in Arequipa it is wintertime! The water is extremely cold.
d

So Hannah becomes a new member of Vision Baptist Church. Her  grandparents are real proud of her.
a

What a privilege it is to see our children serving God and God saving their children!

Hannah, we love you! Chris, Andria, Jacob, and Andrew we love all of you!

Always serving God!

Ephesians 6:7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

As we go to work and carry on our daily duties we are to serve happily because we do what we do for the Lord Jesus Christ and not for men! This will make for better workers, husbands, wives, etc. Serve Jesus. Do what you do for Him!

Tomorrow’s reading II John
