Use a song to worship

Revelation 15:3-4 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Do we consider our songs as worship to the Lord. Moses wrote a song and they are still singing it in Heaven in the book of Revelation. Talk to the Lord. Lift up your voice in song. Magnify the Lord.

When you are in the next church service do not consider that the singing is just prelude. It is part of the worship. Sing the song from your heart to Him.

Rewarding Rest

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Though dead often seems like the most dreaded part of life God says the dead which die in the Lord are blessed or happy.

In death we rest from our service and we will be rewarded for the works that we have done for Him/

Miracles can be used to deceive

Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

The Antichrist and the workers of Satan can work miracles. Many of us are quick to believe miracles are a sign that God is at work but that is a mistake.

Just because see miracles you should not believe. The way to measure truth is by the Word of God and not evidence that your eye can see.

Be careful to be a student of the Word of God.

Greetings to Vision

I really miss being with you today. I love Vision with all of my heart. I have been praying for you this morning. I woke up early. I laid in the bed thinking of you and what God would do with you today.

I thought of Wayne Cooke in my Sunday School class, Trent Cornwell preaching the morning service, the Lord’s Supper tonight with Philip Bassham and then messages by Ben Johnson and Robert Canfield. I love you guys and I am praying for the service.

Thanks for all you do. I will see you soon.

The accuser has a very short life

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Sometimes we get the feeling that the old accuser of the brethren, Satan, is invincible. He seems to be everywhere. He accuses and accuses. He wreaks havoc in the church and among the brethren. He breaks our hearts with accusations that will hinder our service of the Lord Jesus.

Just know that he is short lived. He will soon be cast down. He will soon be in the bottomless pit. He will soon be in the Lake of Fire.

He accuses but another represents us as our lawyer and He will reign forever and ever.
