I had the privilege of preaching a revival at Lakeland Baptist Church this week, Monday through Wednesday. God blessed us in great ways. It was a blessing to be with this wonderful group of people and their super fine pastor, Brian Rhodes.

They gave me a super generous love offering. They treated me very kindly every night. I had the chance to sit down and talk with Pastor Rhodes two evenings after service.

I am excited about what God is going to do at Lakeland. I thank God for their love for the Lord.

Brother Brian, I just wanted to tell you that Vision Baptist and I were honored to take part in this very special week. We want you to know that we love you and respect and admire you. We thank God for the way He is using you.

Proverbs 11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

Solomon has noticed a truth played out in real life. He shares this truth with his son. There are people that are givers, the word used here is they scatter-disperse, shower, give every where and yet God increases their goods.

There are others that hold on to more than they need and it only makes them poorer.

Have you learned to honor God with your money? Have you learned to be a giver?
