Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
How important is it to keep our heart? Out of our heart comes all of our life. Be careful in the most inward, private parts of your life to love Jesus and to obey and follow Him. He is everything.
So often we conform outwardly while men are watching but that is only deception. Real Christianity is heart Christianity.
Today yield your heart and seek the Lord Jesus!
Tony Howeth is a favorite preacher at Vision Baptist Church. He and his family are a great blessing to all of us. He is the director of the Our Generation Training Center. He is passionate about the Lord Jesus and getting the gospel to the entire world.
Today is Brother Tony’s birthday and I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell him that we love him and thank God for him. I count him as a great personal friend and coworker. He has made a great difference at Vision and I want to thank him.
As you can tell he has always been a snazzy dresser and the man. God has allowed me to know Brother Tony and his family for many years. He has always had a great testimony for the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have literally watched him grow old. He is now well over into the middle age, old man group. He will kill me for that jab. Join me in wishing him a very happy birthday.
God bless you Brother Tony. I thank you for your friendship. I thank you for helping me so much in the ministry. I thank you for allowing God to use you so completely in so many places. I praise the Lord for the great testimony your family has maintained through so many rough places in life.
