Old promo video for Our Generation Training Center

“Teamwork makes the Dream work!”

• “Infighting among personnel is more devilish, desperate, and devastating than anything from the outside.” Clarence W. Jones

A. For too long we have been so independent of each other that we are almost independent of God. Each of us goes to our field and acts as though there is no one else there. We need each other. There are too many “one anothers” in the Bible to allow us to think that we can each do our own thing. Not only that the Scriptures say in Romans 14:7 that we do not live or die to ourselves.

B. The Bible compares the church to a body. Each part being important and doing its part but not all being the same or doing the same.

C. We must realize that we all have our part to play on the team. We do not all have the same gifts and abilities and will not all be expected to do the same work.

D. Some will prepare the way for others like David did for Saul, John the Baptist did for Jesus, etc. A bridge that others could walk across to get the job done for God.

E. Others will prepare someone who will take the lead after having been our disciple. Barnabas and Paul.

F. The attitude of competition is killing our work for World Evangelism.

G. “We don’t care who gets the credit we just want the cash!”

H. Many times someone does all the work and another gets the praise. We are called to die to ourselves. Our reward is in heaven.

What do you believe?

Acts 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Notice that Paul believed all that was written in the Bible he had at that time. The New Testament was not written. He only had the Old Testament. He believed all things written in the law and the prophets. Do you?

Paul was willing to boldly proclaim that he worshipped God through Jesus after the way that the Jews were calling heresy. He boldly proclaims that he believes the Bible.

I hope we will all be bold to say we worship and we believe. I hope we will dedicate time to read the Bible so that we can with honesty say that we believe.

How can you say you believe if you have not even taken the time to read it?
