Celebration Sunday is coming

We will soon be 4 years old as a church. We will celebrate our birthday on March 21, 2010! I hope you are making plans to be with us. There are special things in the works even now. You will start hearing more about them every week.

Christians are being persecuted in Turkey

I was wrong again-but it’s a good wrong!

I mentioned that organizing Omega Baptist Church in Arequipa would be to organize our first church. Then I got a letter from Travis Snode, our missionary in Northern Ireland, and realized that Omega will actually be our second church.

On May 25, 2008 we organized Northwest Baptist Church in Londonderry! Click here to see pictures from their organization services!

God has been so good to us. In our 4 year history He has already given us 2 daughter churches. I am asking Him for many, many more. Pray with me as our people go out and plant churches around the world.

The Challenge

Accept the challenge and the command as being relevant to you and your ministry.

Put Bible methods into affect.

Place the responsibility where it belongs—on the local church and then men that God will call out and train in and through the local church.

“A vision without a task makes a visionary; a task without a vision is drudgery; a vision with a task makes a missionary.” George Deakin from the book Why Revival Tarries by Leonard Ravenhill

Leonard Ravenhill goes on to say that Isaiah’s vision could be summed up as; WOE a word of confession, LO a word of cleansing; GO a word of Commission.

We must realize that it can be done. We must get our heads out of the sand. Too long we have said that it can’t be done. They are hard people, not interested, and made a thousand other excuses. The facts are we need men and women of vision who will work to get the job done.

People who say it can’t be done are usually passed up by people who are doing it.

Learn from the mistakes of others you can’ live long enough to make them all yourself.

“There is nothing in the world or the Church, except the church’s disobedience, to render the evangelization of the world in this generation impossibility. — Robert Speer, leader in Student Volunteer
