Ethan Howeth on Thursday afternoon »

Ethan was shot with a .308 deer rifle in the lower left leg. He has been in critical condition though he is much more stable now. He has now received more than 8 units of blood.

Last night the doctor said that blood flow is still good. There are 3 arteries that serve the leg. Ethan only has two arteries from birth. So he only has two arteries one is bad and is good. Blood flow keeps the antibiotics to the tissue and fights infection.

They are waiting to see the doctor to see the results of the angiogram. This is an xray of the vascular system in his leg.

His leg is still super serious and we do not know if they will be able to save it or not.

Tony Howeth is having to cancel most of his meetings. He will try to preach local meetings but cannot travel normally. The only meetings he will be able to do are those on Sundays and Wednesdays.

I again ask you to consider a special offering for him. You can get info on this here.

I am in Northern Ireland and so cannot keep up with everything like I should but thank you for praying.

I should be getting some more information soon and will let you know. Be sure and read the comments because that is where I will put whatever else I hear today.

Having a good time in Northern Ireland »

God is blessing here in Northern Ireland. I am very proud of what is happening here. The two churches are both growing. They have new people that I had not met before. The services have been great.

Teri is a wonderful hostess, cook, mom, and wife. I love watching the way she interacts with her children.

Travis is a great dad, pastor, and host. Both Chris Waye and I are having a good time and getting richly blessed.

Last night we were at the church in Limavady. We had a wonderful time of discipleship and then a wonderful Faith Promise meeting.

Thank you for praying for us here and especially for the Howeth family.

Daily update on Ethan Howeth »

4

I am so grateful to all of you that have shown so much interest in Ethan Howeth. He is still in very rough shape. He is doing better though. Thank you for praying.

This first picture is of Ethan on one of his better days.

1

Yesterday was Ethan’s 14th birthday. He didn’t have his best birthday yet however there were lots of people there expressing their love. Family and friends came in from every where. People have emailed and called from all over the world.

2

This is the latest update from Mark Coffey. I am sure we will get more news later today.

Ethan is out of surgery. The bleeding isn’t that bad. Vital signs are good and it isn’t critical. They will be doing an angioplast tomorrow but no surgery is scheduled.

The leg is still very questionable.

While you pray for Ethan I want to ask you to remember to pray for the entire Howeth family. Pray that God will meet their needs financially. You can help. Get more info here.

Let me also ask that you specially pray for all the Howeth children. Pray for Seth, Lauryn, and Camryn. Pray that God will give them extra special grace and blessing. Pray that He will show them His great love for them.

Pray for Seth. Let him know how much you love him too.
