Privileged to meet Judson Masters

I had the privilege of meeting and holding Judson Elías Masters today for the first time. He is the son of our missionaries Tyler and Gretchen Masters. They are missionaries to North Africa. I am very happy to have this wonderful family as my friends and members of Vision Baptist Church.

Update on urgent prayer request

Here is what I posted earlier. You will want to read it.

I got word from our missionary. All went well and the teacher did not show up today. He thanks you for your prayers and asks that you continue to pray for next Sunday.

The following was a quick email sent to our team of guys

hey guys
thanks for your prayers
it seems like everything is okay for now
the teacher that we’re worried about didn’t come tonight
we just went ahead with the service and nothing happened
major praise – thanks so much for being with us in prayer
if I could ask you to do the same next weekend as well I would be very grateful
if nothing happens these two weeks, then hopefully this storm will be past
thanks again

I thank you for praying. We literally had dozens and dozens praying and I thank you.

Deputation Manual for the Kindle

I have just lowered the price of the Kindle edition of the Deputation Manual to $0.99 or 99 cents. If you own a kindle I encourage you to go and purchase it. This book is to help missionaries raise their support to get to the field as soon as possible.

Since I lowered the price the book will be unavailable for about 24 hours as it goes into their system at the new price. But check back on Monday and what do you have to lose.

Please pray for my dad

I would like to ask you to be in prayer for my dad. He had 4 mini-strokes while we were in Peru.

At 5:45 AM this morning, my sister called to say that at 1:45 AM dad had gotten up to go to the bathroom. He didn’t know where he was or what he was doing. It was nearly 5 am before the neighbor heard and answered the phone.

A nuero surgeon has been called in. It is massive bleeding on the right side and major brain swelling. I will leave right after the evening service I imagine to go to Tennessee.

Please pray for him and for the family. Thank you to each and everyone of you!
